Are you ready for a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education? UCOL has partnered with Open Polytechnic to offer you the chance to earn your teaching degree in Early Childhood Education at three of our campus locations.
Delivered by Open Polytechnic, the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) will enable you to work effectively with young children, their parents, families and whanau while gaining an in-depth understanding of the ethical, legal and professional responsibilities of teaching.

Your Open Polytechnic studies will be supported by weekly face-to-face study sessions, fully resourced library facilities, and other campus student support services from UCOL.

Career & Study Outcomes

Graduates of this three-year Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) degree will have the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to be competent, registered teachers in Early Childhood settings in New Zealand.
