Through a series of interesting employment-focused group projects you'll get training on how to use the internet and other technology, as well as reading, writing, math's and other learning and study skills.

On successfully completing this programme you'll be able to easily progress to further study or other training that will help you get work or move forward with your employment goals.

Academic requirements

There are no academic requirements for entry into this programme

General Requirements

For some contextualisation, applicants must be physically capable of completing the practical aspects of the programme in a setting appropriate to the context. For example in a trade workshop, worksite, workplace environment, nursing and/or health related setting.

For the Trade Start General Engineering, Trade Start Construction, Trade Start Automotive contextualisation applicants must also be independently mobile and not require assistance from another person or device and the ability to work at height or in confined spaces.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the appropriate motivation, attitudes and attributes required to successfully study in this programme.

English Language Entry Requirements

Applicants must have sufficient competence in the English language to undertake this programme, which is taught and assessed in English.

Any applicant whose first language is not English may be required to provide evidence of their English language competency.
