No matter what your background, our graduate diploma will give you significant skills and knowledge to work in the ICT industry.

Our full time one year graduate diploma is designed to meet the needs of graduates from a variety of disciplines who do not possess the specific skills necessary to work in ICT industries, but who have already demonstrated the ability to perform at a significant academic level.

This programme offers courses from a wide range of ICT related disciplines including analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of business information systems.

You are able to specialise in information systems, web or software development or network administration. An individual study plan is designed for each student which takes into account their prior knowledge and the ICT area they wish to specialize in.

For some students completing the Graduate Diploma over 18 months is recommended. You must have basic computing skills.

• Level 6 or 7 Diploma and relevant work and/or life experience (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree)
• or Evidence of equivalent practical, professional or educational experience eg 3 - 5 years full time work experience.

English language requirements:

IELTS 6.0 Academic (no lower than 6.0 in any band); TOEFL Internet based test (iBT) Score of Score of 60 or higher (with a writing score of 18); TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE); University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations - FCE or FCE for schools or CAE or CPE with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill; NZ Certificate in English Language (NZCEL) - Level 4 with the Academic endorsement; Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PToE (Academic) score of 50; City and Guilds IESOL: B2 Communicator with a score of 66.
