What is it Like?

Massey University’s Master of Management will give you an international perspective on management and business, building on your communication skills to learn how to work with management at a senior level.

Financial economics concentrates on decision-making under uncertainty. These decisions are applied to a variety of capital markets and asset-pricing. There is a greater emphasis on the role of information for economic co-ordination and organisations. You will build upon your undergraduate studies to gain an international perspective on management. You will build on your communication skills to learn how to work with management at a senior level.

Part 2

178.896 Professional Practice (60 credits) For progression from Part One to Part Two, candidates must have achieved a minimum B- grade average over the Part One courses.

The course of study for students who have already completed a Postgraduate Diploma or Honours will be 60 credits from Part 1 & 60 credits from Part 2.

Entry criteria

Applicants for the MMgt will have:

• been awarded or qualified for a relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, having achieved a grade average of at least B- in the highest level courses; or
• been awarded or qualified for a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Administration with a B- grade average, or equivalent.

English language requirements:

• IELTS score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0)
• TOEFL iBT score of 90 overall (min 20 in Writing)
• PTE Academic score of 58 Overall (min 50 in communicative skills)
• Cambridge English score of 180
