WHAT IS IT LIKE?

The Postgraduate Diploma allows students to complete courses at 700 level in a specific area. Students may have the opportunity of proceeding to a Masters programme on completion of the Postgraduate Diploma, dependent upon achievement and in consultation with the relevant programme coordinator or Head of Institute/School.

Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Technology (Human Nutrition) structure

You will follow a flexible course of study, which shall consist of courses totalling at least 120 credits of courses at 700-level or above from the Schedule and may include attending field trips, studios, workshops, tutorials, and laboratories as required.

Entry criteria

Admission to the Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Human Nutrition) requires you to have one of the following:

• A Bachelor of Science degree, or close equivalent, with a major in Human Nutrition or closely related subject, with a minimum B average in the majoring 300 level courses;
• A Bachelor degree with a major in a subject related to Human Nutrition (or equivalent qualification), followed by a Graduate Certificate in Science and Technology in Human Nutrition with a minimum B average in the 300-level courses
• A Bachelor degree followed by a Graduate Diploma of Science in Human Nutrition or close equivalent, with a minimum B average in the majoring 300 level courses.

English language requirements:

• IELTS score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0)
• TOEFL iBT score of 90 overall (min 20 in Writing)
• PTE Academic score of 58 Overall (min 50 in communicative skills)
• Cambridge English score of 180
