Summary

English for Teaching - TESOL (TKT) is designed to enhance students’ English language ability and provide the teaching skills required to become a communicative teacher of English. No prior teaching experience is required. Our 10-week course offers numerous advantages over more traditional shorter 4 or 5-week TKT TESOL programmes: more focus on your own language development in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and the four skills of speaking, reading, listening and speaking; more time to prepare for the TKT exams and greater chance of success. To be eligible for English for Teaching – TESOL (TKT), students need to meet the following English language entry requirements: ELA - Minimum Upper Intermediate level (CEFR level B2) as determined by an ELA test or an Academic IELTS test result with the following band score: 5.0 overall, with no less than 5.0 in writing.
