Enhance your employability in the competitive global market with a qualification that provides advanced technical foundations and industrial perspectives in your chosen field.
Programme overview
The Master of Engineering Studies in Computer Systems Engineering provides graduates with an in-depth understanding of this versatile, future-forward specialisation.
Computer Systems Engineers are experts in both hardware and software, so specialists have the capacity to work on a range of products, including robotics, advanced medical devices, and 'smart' technologies – from handheld objects to transportation.
The rising prominence of objects essentially being 'wired' and connected to each other – the Internet of Things – also suggest a stronger need for competent computer systems engineers with in-depth knowledge.
Many aspects in our advanced technological society depend on computing hardware and embedded systems technology, so those who pursue this specialisation will be armed with the multi-skilled knowledge they need to take on a broad range of careers.
