This advanced nursing programme is designed to build upon your current skills and knowledge and provide an in-depth diagnostic and analytical approach to patient care using evidence-based healthcare.

You will usually have some experience working in a clinical specialty.

Programme structure

This taught masters has two pathways that are available in Semester One or Two.

120 point masters

• Enter from a postgraduate qualification
• Two core courses: Evidence-based Practice and Implementation and a Clinical Project (60 points)
• Advanced level courses listed in the Master of Nursing (60 points)
• Complete in two semesters if enrolled full time or eight semesters if part time.

180 point masters

• Enter from a postgraduate degree
• Two core courses: Evidence-based Practice and Implementation and a Clinical Project (60 points)
• Advanced level courses listed in the Master of Nursing (120 points)
• Complete in three semesters if enrolled full time or twelve semesters if part time.

Entry criteria

One year of postgraduate study in nursing.

English language requirements:
IELTS 6.5; TOEFL (iBT) 90; TOEFL (paper-based) 575; CAE or CPE 176; PTE 58; MELAB 85.
