Summary

This certificate allows you to complete postgraduate taught courses in a diverse range of subjects that are related to health sciences.

It offers a broad range of subjects that will cater for all interests, allowing a generic personalised programme of study.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences (PGCertHSc) in Health Informatics is offered by the School of Population Health in partnership with the Department of Computer Science.

Students are required to enrol in, and complete 60 points from the following courses:

HLTHINFO 722 - Special Topic (15 points) - by arrangement with the programme director
HLTHINFO 723 - Health Knowledge Management (15 points)
HLTHINFO 724 - Special Topic (15 points) - by arrangement with the programme director
HLTHINFO 728 - Principles of Health Informatics (15 points)
HLTHINFO 730 - Healthcare Decision Support Systems

Entry criteria

You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in a health-related discipline such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology, or social work.

IELTS 6.5; TOEFL (iBT) 90; TOEFL (paper-based) 575; CAE or CPE 176; PTE 58; MELAB 85.
