Postgraduate Environmental Management

Environmental Management emphasizes the use of interdisciplinary knowledge to move toward sustainable development. The goal is to provide students with a sound understanding of the ecological, social, economic and institutional factors that underlie environmental problems and drive change.

The programmes offer a comprehensive range of environmental management courses that look at the knowledge, tools and methods that can solve environmental problems and monitor success. The core courses and some of the electives are taught in modular form to encourage participation by people already in the workforce.

Requirements:

15 points from ENVSCI 701

At least 60 points from ENVMGT 741-747

Up to 45 points from 700 level courses as approved by the Programme Coordinator

Entry criteria

The prerequisite is an approved BSc, BE, BA, BPlan, BCom or equivalent degree.

English language requirements: IELTS 6.5; TOEFL (iBT) 90; TOEFL (paper-based) 575; CAE or CPE 176; PTE 58; MELAB 85.
