Summary

Study the built environment at an advanced level to expand your Bachelor's degree or develop your professional skills.

Enhance your knowledge of how the built environment is designed by completing a 60-point GCertDE in an area of architecture you haven't studied before. Whether you're a recent graduate or already working in the industry, the Certificate will give you the opportunity to take a detailed look at current issues, new technologies and advancements within the built environment.

Choose from a variety of specialist learning options from areas including architecture, landscape, and building science. You'll study a combination of courses from 200- to 400-level. You can tailor your studies to suit your current area of expertise and career goals, or explore a new specialisation.

Entry criteria

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. You may also be required to demonstrate your proficiency in English.

Other English Language requirements:

• IELTS overall band of 6.5, no sub-score below 6.0; or
• TOEFL 90 on the internet-based test with at least 20 in writing; or
• A minimum of two ratings of 5 and two ratings of 4 in the Victoria University English Proficiency Programme test
• Pearson Test of English: A score of 65 (with a ‘Communicative’ score of not less than 58).
