Summary
The degree has a specific focus on value chains. Value chains connect the world, and so do our graduates. The food and resource economics major focus on the importance of the food industry to New Zealand's and the world's economy. Areas of study include production systems, the New Zealand economy, trade economics and global value chains. You will graduate having been taught the in-depth analytical skills and knowledge required to become a professional economist in the global food and resource industries.

Entry criteria
Applicants must have University Entrance through NCEA, or an approved equivalent qualification. They should also have obtained an overall CAE or FCE score of 169, with no individual component less than 162; PTE of 50 overall score - with no communicative skill less than 42; Lincoln University English Language of LU EL 65%; NZCEL of Level 4 (Academic Endorsement).
