Summary

The Diploma in Horticultural Management prepares students for management of modern horticultural enterprises. The emphasis on business management combined with horticulture and production courses makes this diploma highly relevant and immediately applicable to the work place.

Summary of Regulations
All of the following:
• Pass 120 credits: Horticultural Management (60 credits) plus 60 credits from elective schedule of courses.

Practical Work
A period of Practical Work is a requirement of this qualification

A summary of requirements is provided:
• 44 weeks in total on at least two different types of horticultural units.

Entry criteria

Students who have successfully completed Lincoln University's Diploma in Horticulture will be admitted to the Diploma in Horticultural Management. Equivalent qualifications will be assessed for admission on a case-by-case basis.

They should also have obtained an Overall CAE and FCE score of 169, with no individual component less than 162; PTE of 50 overall score - with no communicative skill less than 42; Lincoln University English Language of LU EL 65%; NZCEL of Level 4 (Academic Endorsement).
