Summary

The Master of Engineering Project Management is the first of its kind in New Zealand. It's intended to attract a range of engineering professionals for career development. The qualification is delivered by the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences but can incorporate appropriate business papers. The programme has two aims - to provide an exciting career development opportunity for practicing engineering project managers aspiring to senior positions, and to provide recent graduate engineers with business and project management skills for modern engineering companies.

Structure

Entry criteria

Applicants must have completed the following or equivalent: a relevant four-year bachelor’s degree or a relevant bachelor’s degree with honours or a relevant postgraduate diploma with B grade average or higher for all the above qualifications and relevant project engineering or managerial professional experience approved by the dean (or representative).

English Language requirements:

Minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; GIE with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.
