Course details
Summary
The Certificate in Science and Technology allows you to undertake a shorter course of study at university level than is required by a three year bachelor’s degree or one year diploma.
It is used primarily as a ‘pathway’ to help you complete subjects you need to enter another qualification.
If you are already enrolled at Massey this programme also enables you to add a complementary area of study to your main degree.
Choose your subjects
The Certificate in Science and Technology is more flexible than many other similar programmes - allowing you to choose specific courses you need for pre-requisites, or for interest.
Enter with industry experience
If you have substantial industry experience at a senior level this may be considered towards your application. This is on a case-by-case basis.
Use your credits toward a degree
You may have courses passed under this programme credited to a bachelor’s degree, or any “higher” undergraduate qualification provided the courses comply with the regulations of the degree in question.
Certificate in Science and Technology structure
Candidates for the Certificate in Science and Technology shall follow a flexible course of study of at least 60 credits at 100-level or above.
