Summary

Gain advanced knowledge and skills that will expand your career options in the property sector or lead to further advanced study.

Programme overview

You will develop knowledge and skills across a range of property disciplines including management, development, finance and investment, valuation, market analysis, and marketing.

You will be exposed to advanced theoretical concepts surrounding property markets and develop the analytical skills required to engage with contemporary property issues.

Programme structure

The MProp is a 120 or 180-point specialist masters degree that builds on an undergraduate property degree.

The MProp (180 point) is a 12 or 15-month taught specialist masters comprising coursework and a short dissertation. If you have a first degree you can pursue an advanced specialised qualification in the same discipline.

If you have completed a BProp (Hons) or equivalent, you may be eligible to undertake a 120-point MProp degree by research comprising a supervised thesis.

Entry criteria

For Taught 180 points: You must have completed a Bachelor of Property or an undergraduate degree in a property-related discipline at a recognised university (or similar institution). You will need a GPE of 5.0 in the highest level of courses required for your undergraduate degree.

For Research 120 points: You must have completed one year of postgraduate study, following an undergraduate degree, in a property-related discipline and with a GPE of 5.0. Your study must have been at a recognised university (or similar institution).

English language requirements:
IELTS 6.5; TOEFL (iBT) 90; TOEFL (paper-based) 575; CAE or CPE 176; PTE 58; MELAB 85.
