This certificate allows you to complete postgraduate taught courses in a diverse range of subjects that are related to health sciences.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences (PGCertHSc) specialising in Youth Health offers opportunities for students who wish to progress to leadership roles in youth health in such areas as planning and policy, clinical practice and programme leadership.

This specialisation is offered by the School of Medicine. Courses in this specialisation are offered in a Flexible learning format.

Students wishing to complete the PGCertHSc in Youth Health must enrol in and complete the following courses:

PAEDS 712 - Youth Health Clinical Skills (15 Points)

PAEDS 719 - Health, Education and Youth Development (15 Points)

POPLHLTH 732 - Population Youth Health (15 Points)

Entry criteria

You must have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognised university (or similar institution) in a health-related discipline such as health sciences, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, psychology, or social work.

IELTS 6.5; TOEFL (iBT) 90; TOEFL (paper-based) 575; CAE or CPE 176; PTE 58; MELAB 85.
